Launched in 1985, the Korean Journal of Remote Sensing is the peer-reviewed official journal of the Korean Society of Remote Sensing. The abbreviated title is ‘Korean J. Remote Sens.’. It contains research articles, reviews, editorials, and letters related to the theory and techniques of science and engineering as applied to sensing the earth, oceans, atmosphere, and space, as well as the processing, interpretation, and distribution of information and data collected through remote sensing. The journal is published bimonthly, with Korean and English papers released on February 28, April 30, June 30, August 31, October 31, and December 31 each year. This journal is abstracted or indexed in Scopus, ESCI, KCI, Google Scholar, DOI/CrossRef, etc. Full text is freely available on the official website (https://www.kjrs.org/). This journal is supported by a grant from the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST), funded by the Korean government (Ministry of Science and ICT).
