Dr. Jinsoo Kim has made significant contributions to the development of the Korean Journal of Remote Sensing over the past eight years. He served as an editorial board member from 2017 to 2018, as Deputy Editor-in-Chief from 2019 to 2020, and has held the position of Editor-in-Chief since 2021. He is also currently a Professor in the Department of Spatial Information Engineering at Pukyong National University. His research primarily focuses on GIS-based spatial information modeling, as well as digital photogrammetry, remote sensing, and GIS applications, including radiometric calibration and validation of multispectral cameras, smartphone-based photogrammetry UAV systems, and land use change modeling.

Dr. Chang-Wook Lee served as an editorial board member from 2017 to 2020 and has been serving as the Co-Editor-in-Chief since 2021. He has made significant contributions to the development of the journal over the past eight years. He is also currently a Professor in the Department of Science Education at Kangwon National University. His main research areas include Earth environmental monitoring, natural disaster monitoring, and satellite image analysis. Additionally, he possesses expertise in remote sensing and GIS applications, particularly in InSAR technology and the development of high-precision SAR processing techniques. Dr. Lee has published numerous papers in prestigious international journals and has served as both an editor and a reviewer.

Dr. Sang-Hoon Hong served as an editorial board member from 2017 to 2020 and has been serving as the Co-Editor-in-Chief since 2021. He has made significant contributions to the development of the journal over the past eight years. He is also currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Geological Sciences at Pusan National University. His main research areas include radar interferometry, radar polarimetry, and microwave signal processing for geosciences. He has applied SAR, interferometric SAR, and polarimetric SAR techniques for geophysical parameter retrieval and geodetic change observation. Dr. Hong has achieved notable academic success in wetland InSAR monitoring and detecting changes due to geohazards using SAR and radar interferometry.

Dr. Youkyung Han has been serving as the Co-Editor-in-Chief since 2021. He is also currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Civil Engineering at Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Korea. His major research interests include image processing of very high-resolution remote sensing data such as image registration, segmentation, object extraction, and change detection. He has published numerous papers in prestigious international journals and is conducting various research projects in collaboration with leading research institutions in the country.
