We are now accepting submissions for the December 2024 issue of the Korean Journal of Remote Sensing (KJRS).
All papers submitted after October 8th will be considered for review for the December issue.
Papers must be submitted through the new submission system: https://www.kjrs.org/submission/.
Please note that, due to the year-end financial closing at many institutions in December, the submission deadline has been set earlier than usual. We kindly ask that you strictly adhere to the submission deadlines.
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Korean Society of Remote Sensing, we are offering a promotional discount on publication fees for English-language manuscripts. We encourage all members to actively participate and submit their manuscripts.

- December 31, 2024 (Vol. 40, No. 6-1, Korean/English Combined Edition)
- Each issue will include both Korean and English-language papers.
3. Submission Guidelines
- Log in to the new submission system (https://www.kjrs.org/submission) and click “Author → Submit New Manuscript”.
- You must register separately for the submission system. (It is different from the Society’s website).
- Please submit your papers in accordance with the attached manuscript templates for both Korean or English. (In compliance with the blind review policy, please ensure that "author names, affiliation information, and acknowledgments" are removed from the manuscript file.)
- Papers that do not conform to the journal’s format may be rejected without review.
4. Submission Deadlines (Early Closure, Strict Adherence Required)
General Review Deadline: November 15, 2024 (No review fee)
Fast Track Review Deadline: November 22, 2024 (Review fee: 300,000 KRW, completed within 2 weeks).
*The fast track review fee is waived for English-language manuscripts.
Due to the year-end closing period for many institutions, the submission will close earlier than usual, so please ensure timely submission. (Papers submitted after the deadline will not be considered for the December issue.)
One week prior to publication will be reserved for editing and proofreading.

2. Changes to Publication Fees
Starting in 2024, we are transitioning to online-only publication. Printing costs will be integrated into editing fees. All articles published online will be in full color.
